    Favorite place for lunch! Great sandwiches (especially the bread) and great açaí bowls.

    My kids like coming.

    Outdoor upstairs seating is our favorite.

    A little cramped standing in line and parking is always tricky. But worth it!

    Rubicon is a solid lunch spot in San Diego.They have several locations throughout, my favorite being the one in the mission hills area. The sandwiches have decadent bread and tons of fillings.  I love getting the dutch crunch bread or the garlic cheese. Most recently I got the Rubi Club.   It had great thick cut bacon and the sauce was a cilantro, jalopeno ranch that added a great flavor to the sandwich.

    They do half or full sandwiches which is a plus.  The half sandwich is enough for me but if you want to split with someone or are extremely hungry, go for the full sandwich.   Also, they give you a tiny chocolate chip cookie with the sandwich.  If you dine in it comes on your plate, or if you get it to-go they wrap the cookie in the sandwich paper (so don't miss it!).

    Came by on my lunch and it took about 30 minutes to get my sandwich. I ordered the hot mess and it definitely was. I felt sick after eating it and lost all my energy.

    I had tried this place before and the sandwich wasn't that bad which is why I went again! But definitely will not be going back

    This place has gone down hill so bad!!!

    They never make anything correctly and the place is always dirty and full of flies and tables and floor is gross.

    When they first opened it was clean and friendly now it's gross, the employees are lazy and do nothing to work help or clean up.

    I do not recommend going here

    This place was so right. I have to try it a few times before I could write a review since I felt it had to be a fluke.  It's a, but pricy the sizes are large though it gets jam-packed but great food!!!
